Hallo, Matt.

What's really nice about BMW ETK compared to, say, Saab EPC is that it clearly describes dimensions and similar parameters for a teile if it is an industry-standard part. Your E14-bolt (11311715412 in BMW-Sprache) is a standard M10X35 bolt, and since it doesn't mention whether it is RH- or LH-threaded, then means it is an ordinary RH-bolt. Undo it counter-clockwise.

As for the tool recommendation, try googling for shake'n'break air impact adapter. It is an adapter for air-hammer onto which you install a 1/4-hex bit or 3/8-socket and it also features a small arm, with which you can apply a slight twisting torque while air-hammering the bolt (or screw). Even if Sie kein Englisch sprechen, have a look at ETCG reviewing the thing, that's where I discovered that it exists:

Sometimes it takes a long time - and a lot of air - to get away with a stubborn screw or bolt. But it really helps, e.g. with corroded bleed-screws on the brake calipers. I'm sure it'll help it in your case as well.

Gruesse,
Zig
